Coach Justin Shibley – Quarterback Trainer at Capital QB’s
Coach Justin Shibley returns to Capital QB’s not just as a trainer, but as a proven leader, championship quarterback, and longtime product of the program. After spending three seasons developing at Carleton University, Justin now plays quarterback for the Saint Mary’s University Huskies, where he helped lead the team to a championship-winning season. His journey reflects commitment, resilience, and a deep passion for the quarterback position.
With over a decade of quarterback experience, Justin brings a high-performance mindset to every session. He is also the founder of Sumit Strength, a training platform built around position-specific and athletic development exercises. Over the past several years, he has researched, tested, and applied advanced quarterback and movement-training methods to help athletes improve mechanics, efficiency, and on-field confidence.
Justin’s connection to Capital QB’s runs deep—he first trained with Coach Ron Raymond back in 2013 as a young QB with big dreams. Now, having grown through university football and championship-level competition, he’s come full circle as a coach. His goal is to use his experience to elevate the next generation of quarterbacks, both in mechanics and in mindset.
This offseason, Coach Shibley will be leading on-field quarterback development, focusing on fundamentals, advanced throwing mechanics, movement efficiency, film understanding, and the mental side of quarterback play. His commitment to growth, leadership, and mentorship makes him an invaluable part of the Capital QB’s coaching staff.
Join us in celebrating Coach Justin Shibley’s continued journey with Capital QB’s—now as a mentor, leader, and championship QB dedicated to helping young athletes reach their potential.
