Quarterbacks in The 10% Club – Built Different

Let’s get one thing straight—not every quarterback is built for the 10% Club.

You know the ones I’m talking about. They stay after practice, not because a coach told them to, but because their goals demand it. They don’t just run drills; they attack them. They chase reps the way others chase likes on Instagram.

These QBs? They’re rare. Roughly 1 out of 10. Hence, The 10% Club.

Cutting Corners Is a Career Killer

We’re seeing too many QBs today talk the talk—but when it’s time to grind, they ghost. They want D1 dreams with D3 discipline. They want NFL results with a flag football work ethic. Let me be real with you:

You can’t cheat the grind.
The grind knows. Your arm strength doesn’t lie. Your reads don’t lie. Your film doesn’t lie. And your attitude? That’s the billboard telling everyone exactly who you are.

The Little Things Aren’t Little

Want to be in the 10% Club? Start with the things no one sees.

  • Are you stretching after workouts or sprinting to the parking lot?
  • Are you reviewing film, or just rewatching your highlights on repeat?
  • Are you early to practice or barely on time with a Tim Hortons cup in hand?

Championships are won Monday through Friday. Friday night is just the unveiling.

Attitude Sets Altitude

Talent will get you noticed.
Attitude will get you remembered.

Coaches recruit attitude. Leaders rally around it. And when adversity hits—and it will—it’s your attitude that separates the pretenders from the players.

Be the guy who lifts teammates. Be the guy who embraces the grind. Be the guy who knows that greatness is a choice made daily, not a once-a-week highlight clip.

So… Are You 10% or 90%?

Every rep is a vote. Every decision, every sprint, every late night, and every early morning is you casting a ballot:

“Am I serious about this or just wearing the jersey?”

There’s no secret sauce. Just consistent commitment. The 10% Club isn’t about being perfect—it’s about being obsessed with improvement.

You want to separate yourself? Good. Start doing what 90% of quarterbacks won’t. That’s where you’ll find the ones who truly belong in the 10% Club.
