RECEIVER TRAINING. LIVE QB REPS. REAL DEVELOPMENT.
Capital REC’s Spring 2027 Receiver Training is built for athletes aged 12–18.
They aim to improve the details of the receiver position while also providing meaningful work with quarterbacks.
Open to:
✓ Boys & Girls
✓ Tackle Players
✓ Flag Players
All training takes place at the Garneau Orléans Dome.
WHAT WE TRAIN
Capital REC’s focuses on developing complete receivers — not just running routes against air.
Receivers will work on:
- Stance & Starts
- Releases
- Route Running
- Route Depth
- Break Points
- Footwork
- Speed Cuts
- Pressure Steps
- Separation Techniques
- Catching Mechanics
- Ball Tracking
- Contested Catches
- Sideline Awareness
- Route Adjustments
- Football IQ
- Timing With the Quarterback
DETAILS. REPS. FEEDBACK.
TRAIN WITH CAPITAL QB’S
Additionally, Capital REC’s Receiver Training helps ensure that receivers don’t spend the entire session working independently.
MIDWAY THROUGH EACH SESSION
Capital REC receivers will join the Capital QB’s quarterbacks for live passing-game work.
This gives receivers the opportunity to develop:
- Real QB / Receiver timing
- Route-to-throw relationships
- Communication
- Ball placement adjustments
- Catch timing
- Chemistry
- Game-speed execution
You can run routes against air all winter.
Eventually, somebody has to throw you the football.
