Coach Geoff Coventry brings championship-level experience, teaching skill, and a true passion for developing young athletes. A former CFL receiver with the Montreal Alouettes (2014), Geoff has built a strong reputation in Ottawa as a leader, educator, and technician at the receiver position.
He is the Head Coach of St. Matthew High School, guiding the Tigers to the 2022 City Championship and OFSAA Bowl victory — one of the top achievements in Ontario high school football.
With a background as both a player and a coach, Geoff specializes in:
• Precision route running
• Explosive releases off the line
• Catching fundamentals & ball security
• Football IQ & coverage recognition
Beyond coaching, he is also the creator of the Ottawa and Ontario High School Football media platforms, promoting local athletes and giving young players the recognition they deserve.
