The Commanders QB Camp is honored to announce an exceptional addition to our coaching lineup for the 2024 camp: Paul LaPolice, a celebrated coach with a rich history in the Canadian Football League (CFL). Born on June 12, 1970, in Nashua, New Hampshire, LaPolice has carved out an illustrious coaching career that spans over two decades, including pivotal roles with teams like the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and the Ottawa Redblacks.
LaPolice’s coaching credentials are impressive, highlighted by two Grey Cup victories in 2007 and 2019. His tenure in the CFL is marked by innovative offensive strategies and a deep commitment to player development. As the head coach of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers from 2010 to 2012, he led the team to a dramatic turnaround, culminating in a Grey Cup appearance in 2011. His work with the Bombers and later as the head coach of the Ottawa Redblacks has solidified his reputation as a coach who brings out the best in his teams.
Paul LaPolice’s coaching philosophy extends beyond the field. With a Bachelor of Science degree in physical education from Plymouth State College and a playing career as a wide receiver, LaPolice understands the game from multiple perspectives. This comprehensive understanding of football, combined with his experience in various coaching capacities—ranging from quarterback and receivers coach to offensive coordinator—makes him an invaluable asset to any team.
At the Commanders QB Camp, set to take place on April 21st, 2024, at the Embrun Sports Dome, LaPolice will bring his wealth of knowledge and experience to aspiring quarterbacks.
