
Coach Brandon Weekes – Receivers
Coach Brandon Weekes brings a strong blend of professional playing experience, high-level coaching, and community leadership to Capital REC’s.
He began his coaching career while playing professionally in Oslo, before returning home to become Head Coach of the Ottawa Invaders / Ottawa Sooners semi-professional program. His playing career included time in Europe and Ottawa, along with a professional tryout with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.
At the amateur and university levels, Brandon played at St. Patrick High School, University of Ottawa, and Bishop’s University, giving him a well-rounded understanding of player development across multiple stages.
Currently entering his 4th season as the Carleton Ravens Receiver Coach, Brandon also served as Offensive Coordinator for the OSFL Myers Riders (2022–2023). He is widely respected as a community builder and mentor, known for developing disciplined receivers and building strong relationships with athletes and coaches alike.
