Coach Ron Raymond

Ron Raymond is an accomplished quarterback coach, with over 30 years of experience playing and coaching the position in the Ottawa area. In June 2011, he founded Capital QB’s, a quarterback training school that has helped develop hundreds of amateur and university-level quarterbacks and players.

Raymond’s career highlights include an impressive eight regular season and playoff championship wins, as well as four city and provincial Coach of the Year awards. He also served as an international QB coach for Team Canada in 2012, and has worked as a quarterback and receiver coach for the Ottawa Gee Gees.

In addition to his coaching accomplishments, Coach Raymond has a strong background in leadership and discipline. He served 5 years (1990-1995) in the Canadian Armed Forces and was the recipient of the “Commandant Shield,” awarded to the top recruit during 10 weeks of basic training.

Through his work with Capital QB’s, Raymond has earned a reputation as a skilled and dedicated coach who is committed to helping his players reach their full potential. His experience and expertise have made him a respected figure in the Ottawa football community, and his work with young quarterbacks has had a lasting impact on the sport at both the amateur and university levels.
