About Coach Ron Raymond
I’m honoured to return as Head Coach of the Orleans Raftsmen U18 Football Program for the 2026 QMFL season.
I was fortunate to be the Raftsmen’ first Head Coach in 2018 and 2019, where we built something special with great players, families, and coaches.
During those two seasons, the Raftsmen won the 2018 Wilbert Scott Championship, captured the 2019 Division 1 Regular Season Championship, and our coaching staff was recognized with back-to-back Coaching Staff of the Year honours.

I’ve been fortunate to win championships and receive coaching honours, but those accomplishments were never about one person. They came from committed players, supportive families, dedicated coaches, and programs that believed in doing things the right way.
My Goal for 2026
My goal coming back to the Raftsmen is simple: to help create the best football experience possible for our players, parents, coaches, and community.
Winning matters, but winning is a by-product of the standards we set every day.
We want to build a program based on:
- Discipline
- Accountability
- Effort
- Teamwork
- Respect
- Community pride
I’m excited to be back with the Raftsmen family and look forward to helping our players along with our coaches to grow on the field, in the classroom, and in life.
The scoreboard will tell people how we played. Our standards will tell people who we are.
