Coach Ron Raymond
Capital QB’s was founded by Coach Ron Raymond in June 2011. Ron Raymond has played and coached the Quarterback position in the Ottawa area for over 20 years. He is looking forward teaching young athletes the key fundamentals and mechanics of being a champion quarterback of the future.
Coach Ron Raymond brings over a decade of coaching experience and has been recently coaching with the OVFL Cumberland Panthers Senior Varsity (U20) program and the Ottawa Gee Gees University Football. Coach Raymond is currently the Offensive Coordinator with the Cumberland Panthers JV OV football team and the OC for the Franco Cité Falcons High School football team. Coach Raymond is the founder of Capital QB’s now going into its 5th season.

Coach Aaron Geisler
Coach Aaron Geisler is currently with the Ottawa Gee Gees Coaching staff, where he has coached the Running Backs and Receivers. Coach Geisler is an NCCP certified coach who also served as a graduate assistant coach with the Western Mustangs while earning a Master’s degree in kinesiology. The St. Thomas, Ont. native led the OFC in rushing during his time with the London Beefeaters and now works as the Technical Director at Football Canada. During his stint at Cumberland Panthers, coach Geisler was the Assistant HC and Special Teams Coordinator. Here are other Coaching responsibilities Coach Geisler did with the following teams: London Beefeaters (OC/STC/), Forest City Thunderbirds (STC) and St Joseph’s Rams (OC).
Coach Aaron Colbon
Coach Aaron Colbon played quarterback at OttawaU from 2008-13, and was the starter during the 2011, 2012, and 2013 seasons. The Ottawa native ranked 7th in the CIS in passing yards per game in 2011 and 4th in 2013, when he averaged 311 yards per game! Also a talented rusher, Colbon holds the OttawaU record for passing yards in a game with 523. Furthermore, Coach Colbon was the QB Coach with the Cumberland Panthers Senior Varsity football team from 2014-15.
Coach Darcy Lavoie
Coach Darcy Lavoie played quarterback at the University of Acadia from 2013 to 2015. Prior to joining the Axemen, Coach Lavoie was the Quarterback for the Cumberland Panthers from 2011 & 2012. Furthermore, Coach Lavoie won a City Championship in 2011 with the Orleans Dukes and was named the game MVP in the Championship game. Capital QB’s would like to welcome Coach Lavoie to the Capital QB team and he will be on hand each Sunday coaching up QB’s and sharing his knowledge with younger quarterbacks looking to get to the next level.
