Ottawa Football Games – July 13th Weekend

Waz-up’ this weekend will be a nutshell of Ottawa Football games going on this weekend.

In fact, we will cover camps and clinics going around the Ottawa-Gatineau/Kingston area as well, and we will do our best to keep amateur football fans informed on where the games are going to be held and at what time. If we’ve missed your game or event, please shoot us an email and we’ll do our best to include it in our weekly recap.

 Football Games – Weekend of July 13th

cumberland panthersThe Cumberland Panthers will be travelling this weekend, as they will be in Toronto facing the Metro Toronto Wildcats on Sunday, July 14th at Birchmount Stadium. The Bantam game will start at 12:00 noon, the JV game kicks off at 2:30pm, while the senior team will finish off the triple header at 5:00pm.

Cornwall WildcatsThe 5-1 Cornwall Wildcats are at home this Saturday, July 13th and the visiting team will be the Pickering Dolphins. Pickering is coming off a 28-21 road win over Cumberland, while Cornwall handed the Oshawa Hawkeyes a 51-14 lost. The Wildcats will host the Dolphins at St. Joes field and kick off is at 4pm.

Myers RidersThe OVFL Myers Riders will host a triple header at Minto Field on Sunday, July 14th, as the Kingston Grenadiers will be the visiting team. The Bantam team (5-1) will start things off at 1:30pm, while the senior team will play at 4:15pm and the JV team will finish off the day with the late start at 7:00pm.

 

Camps, Clinics, or 7on7 Events:

NCAFA 7on7 Football a

NCAFA will be hosting its 1st Annual 7on7 Passing Tournament Football Games powered by King Football and Capital QB’s on July 27th at St. Joes High School and there will be two divisions of 8 teams. There will be a U20 division and an U17 Division. Basically, it’s a Bantam and Midget division! –  geegees        For campers, Ottawa U will be hosting a Gee-Gees football camp for players aged 10 to 17 years old during the week of July 15th to 19th. For further details, please go to Geegees.ca
